I've included below the stories I have available. Note that major works in progress, very short stories, or unfinished works are over at the Unfinished section.
Male/female, female/female or male/male relationships/themes are only noted if the relationships are between central characters or somehow central to the plot of the story.
The longest original story I've written/participated in is the collaboration In the Company of Shadows, a slash (gay, male/male) story written with Sonny. The story contains several graphic scenes and language and can be pretty dark. I tend to be very interested in the emotions and psychology of characters as well as making the environment of the story seem realistic or come alive. As far as we've heard from readers of ICoS (as we call In the Company of Shadows), it sounds as though many people feel that Sonny and I have managed to do that in the story. If you read it, please give us feedback. We currently make no money on the story so feedback is basically our compensation and inspiration to keep writing and posting. You can find all the information you want on icos by following the earlier link or clicking the button to the left.
Due to my interest in creating an atmosphere/emotional understanding of the character, I tend to be pretty wordy. That is usually the largest complaint I hear from readers about my work. It's something I've been trying to fix, but at the same time it's so much a part of my writing voice by now that it's difficult for me to change. It also makes me wonder if I should even bother. After all, some people prefer to have it a little wordier and to contain many details. We'll see.
Unfortunately, I don't have a lot to put up here at the moment. Many of the original stories I've written are so old that they're entirely too embarrassing to share, or were never fully edited. Even so, I hope you enjoy. Let me know if there is anything you like that you would like to see more of; even with short stories, I suspect I wouldn't mind doing continuations or one shots in that same universe.
