About the Chat..
This is just for fun. We'd love if people use it! Sonny and Ais will try to be around/available in their free time but it's also a place for anyone to talk to each other. Think of the Golden Rule (Treat others as you would like to be treated yourself) and don't be a jerk.
As is obvious from our story, we don't care about language, etc, but be aware of if others in the chatroom are uncomfortable/upset and try to compromise. Let's keep the Viviennes and Harrys far away from the place, shall we? ^_~

Hey! We've already got the babbling in the right navigation there regarding not being mean to others, etc etc, so we'll assume for the moment that you're all decent people and know how to be decent to others.
Important Notes
- If you see either of us in there but we don't respond right away, give us time. Sometimes we forget the chatroom's open and don't answer for a bit.
- This chatroom requires Javascript! Sorry if that annoys you.
- Put in a nickname for it to work (in the space under 'username'). I set it so you shouldn't have to do a nickname but it doesn't seem to load for me unless I do.
- Due to the limited space in this center section I had to make the chat room pretty small. I highly suggest clicking that 'float' button so it'll pop out as a separate window. Then you can make it as large as your heart desires!
- Please let us know if the chat isn't working/there are technical difficulties, so we can fix it. Thank you!
- There are people monitoring the chatrooms so don't spam/troll/etc. They'll catch and ban you even if we aren't there. Note 3/22/07: Read their rules below the chatroom window!
- Go to http://www.freejavachat.com/help.html for help, by the way. I can't figure out yet how to get that help button to go to an actual file.

IRCStorm Rules
This chat is provided through a free chat room site, but because it involves IRC it actually falls under a channel that's within IRCStorm's jurisdiction. Which means you should probably follow their rules or you could get banned. Actually, I (Ais) was accidentally banned and it took two weeks to get it fixed, which is why I haven't been in the chat. So I thought I'd list their rules below just so everyone knows them:
- No mass clones, proxies, war bots, floods, spamming.
- No DoS/ICMP/mass ping attacks or Nukes.
- They state that any illegal conduct will not be tolerated.
- No harassment of any user, channel, or Staff member.
- No flooding channels, users, staff members, or spamming.
- No child pornography.
- No staff impersonations.
- No hacking, talking about any type of hacking toward staff, or claiming you're a cracker/hacker/hax0r.
- Adult related chats are allowed if set with mode +s OR have "18+" very visible in the topic or entry message.
- They are a family oriented chat network, keep all visible channel topics PG-13.
- No advertising other IRC networks.
- The rules can be changed at any time.
- Failure to abide by the rules will result in immediate action by IRCstorm Staff.
By the way, I'm working on making sure the channel is listed as adult just in case. I'll make a note when that's finished.
